Welcome to the new Amici di Penna website

Until now, Amici di Penna has run on WhatsApp messages and a spreadsheet. That worked when the community was small. With more than 160 families writing to each other from Italy, Australia and a growing list of other countries, it stopped being fair on anyone waiting for a match.

So we built a website. Parents can create an account, add a child’s profile with their age band, languages and interests, and browse other families looking for a pen pal. When two families agree to connect, they arrange the letter exchange privately, parent to parent. Children’s names and addresses never appear in the member area.

None of this changes how the project works. A child still writes a letter, posts it, and waits for a reply from a friend on the other side of the world. The website only handles the introductions.
